2013年10月21日至25日，意大利海洋科學研究所（ISMAR）Luca Zaggia博士和Sandra Donnici博士應邀來中國科學院煙臺海岸帶研究所進行學術交流與訪問。

在所訪問期間，兩位科學家做了精彩的學術報告，報告題目分別為：Suspended sediment fluxes from the conversion of backscatter applications in coastal research and dredge monitoring和Palaeochannels reconstruction in the lagoon of Venice through geographical exploration，與科研人員就進行了深入交流，并就龍計劃3期下一步合作事宜進行了研討。
